- Visual Artist and Graphic Designer.

- Member of the Syndicate of Visual Art, Egypt.

- International lecturer, workshop leader, and examiner visual arts subject, International baccalaureate Programme.

- IBDP Visual Arts Workshops and Courses, Athens, Oxford, Rome, Prague, and Dubai. These courses paralleled with my PHD study.

- Master degree in Art Education, Design. Helwan University,  Cairo Egypt,

- Bachelor degree in Art Education. Helwan University, Cairo Egypt.

- Since my graduation from university, I have moved between the different branches of Art, drawing, sculpture, photography, designing, decorations and other branches I got to know through my studies.

- I worked as a lecturer in a university for four years. Then I quit for that kind of job did not satisfy my ambitions; I had to teach only one branch of Art in that university because of "Specialization".

- I decided then to look for other fields to fulfill my ambitions and to help me complete my post-graduate studies.

- I have exhibited my work in several Art galleries and received many awards. Besides, I have also worked in a large specialized company as a designer of Children's toys where subsequently I became head of the Designing Department, then Chairman of the Department of Research, Development and Quality.

- After that I obtained my Master's Degree with a thesis entitled "Designing Toys to Develop Diversion Thinking for the Child, using geometric Patterns". As part of my research I taught "Creative Thinking" to children. This proved to be a very gratifying experience that shaped my next career step.

- I, then, taught art in Middle School for five years. This allowed me to teach different branches of Art to many types of students, some the talented and others that were beginners. At that time, I was really convinced that only talented students deserve exerting efforts on. However, after practice in the educational process, I realized that every student could 'blossom' in one branch or another, whether they were talented or not considered to be so.

- Fifteen years ago, I moved to a large school as a teacher of Art. I started in the Elementary section and moved through the other stages until I settled in the Secondary section (IB Diploma) now.

- Side by side with my job as a teacher, I worked as a designer and director of all the school's official printouts, the Annual Book, the Semester Magazine, brochures, posters, flyers and all banners needed for seminars, meetings and celebrations.

- Ten years ago, the system of the school changed from the National Style to the International applying the "International Baccalaureate" (IB) Program. I have been involved in that Program ever since it started in the school. My preparation for the requirements of to this program included guided reading and attending specialized training courses. This training ran in parallel with my responsibilities as teacher of Visual Art in the Middle Years Program.

- Since the IB Program started in the school, I have been the coordinator-assistant of the Creativity, Action and Service (CAS) Program in the Diploma Section. I have also been supervising many groups of students in the activities of Design, Decoration, Arts and many more fall under the umbrella name of “Creative Activity”.

- Ever since King Faisal School decided to offer Arts in the IB Diploma Section, I have been teaching Higher Level and Standard Level Visual Arts. Eight IB cohorts have graduated so far.

- Through practical application of teaching in the IB Program, I am convinced that this system satisfies the students’ needs, improves their talents and develops their creativity. Furthermore, it meets the ambitions of Art Teachers in general and improves the outlook of students and parents to the subject.
